Bottle. Color: Black, light brown head. Aroma: Dark roasted malt, liquorice, boozy and vanilla hints, slightly fruity sourness. Taste: Dark roasted malt, some liquorice and dark chocolate, notes of Bourbon, vanilla and bit boozy. Notes of sweet-sourish blueberries and light hints of banana. Decent bitterness. Over medium to full body, below average carbonation. A bit sharp and unbalanced, some raw edges and lacking some complexity compared to the top of the Bourbon Imperial Stouts but overall quite nice.

Ever so slightly hazy golden coloured body with a very thin, single centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of wheat, grass, earth, alcohol and some fake sugars. Light-bodied; Sharp vanilla and pure cream flavours with some lactose, funky malts, hay and an odd fake sugar flavour noticeable at the very end, with some lighter wheat-based malt profile along with some bitter funk. Aftertaste shows the grassy and dryer flavours immediately after, but the fake sugars and lactose sweetness persist throughout and leave an odd flavour at the end with a dash of funk and dryness at the finish with some pungent alcohol (especially at less than 5,0% abv) and mellow yeastie/wheatie flavours that show a bit too much vanilla essence and funky sugars. Overall, a light beer that does show wheat and vanilla throughout. That said, this wasn't a cogent beer that had a profile that persisted throughout - it was more of a staggered beer that didn't show any complexity or depth and only funky characteristics throughout the sample - in not such a good way. I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle purchased from GlenRo Spirit Shoppe in Monroe, Connecticut on 10-March-2018 for US$1,00 sampled at home in Washington on 17-July-2018 during the MLB All-Star Game here in town on 17-July-2018.
