Taste @ brouwerij Het Veem, Eindhoven as 8% ABV Black with a beige head. Heavy roasted malts with lots of coffee and chocolate. Taste is fairly bitter with burnt aromas and strangely enough a very smooth finish. Very nice uncompromising straight forward stout.

Draught at Pour House Santa Cruz, stable long lasting, creamy pink head, very deep red color, aroma of red fruits, green notes, spicy whiff and something spicy in the back, flavor of dried cherries and jam, spice and vinous hints, light mellow sourness. Nice ans enjoyable, quite complex.

[12oz can from Total Wines, Brea, CA.] A hazy amber pour with a thick cream head; aroma of burnt grains and orange; malty body with some orange juice and burnt sugar; and a deep unpleasant pithy bitterness. I don't get this at all.

Van tap bij 't Witte Konijn in Amersfoort. Maltig , harsig, hoppig, cinnamon, rood fruit. Zoet, zuur en bitters wisselen elkaar af. (8-6-2019).

Clear medium golden colour, tall frothy white head, good retenton. Aroma sweet malt, wheat, yeast, vanilla, bit butter. Mild taste, light heavy sweet and slightly bitter, malty, vanilla, sugary. Sweet aftertaste, sugar notes, light body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Overall not really attractive, kind of bland.
Licht zurig. Bourbon ba ris meets flemish red. Het is nog niet heel erg, maar ik had hem niet langer moeten bewaren. Matig
