Draft. Black beer with a dark cream head. Chocolate and rum aroma. Rum and chocolate flavor with toasted coconut. Medium bodied. Toasted coconut lingers with chocolate and rum.

Bottle. Pours dark brown, almost black with a medium light brown head. Aromas of sweet chocolate, sweet bourbon, honey cakes, some coffee roast, dark dried fruits, cocoa powder. Taste is sweet chocolate up front, slight coffee, cocoa powder, dark dried fruits, some molasses, caramel, fudge.

Bottle. Pours black with a small offwhite head. Aromas of coconut, vanilla, chocolate, malt. Taste is bitter, malty, coconut, roasty.
Not that good at all. Cheap bourbon overkill, alcoholic. Very thin. Taste is a lot of bourbon, some cold coffee and some bitterness. This needs way more body and flavours of the base. Might have been a bad bottle? Otherwise vastly overrated.

35,5 cl can @ Bierlokaal Locus Publicus Aroma has caramel and resiny malt. Flavour has minerals, some resiny malt and grapefruity hops. A tad too dry but decent anyway. Faithful to the style.

Can at Grub. Aroma is a bit sweet, bit of wheatiness, bit of berries. Taste is strawberry, fruity, bit of wheat at the end. Bit creamy. Light hop bite. Nice enough. I like the can design. --- Beer merged from original tick of Lawnmower Lager on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:05 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 8.
