Can. Pours a clear gold with an orange hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a light pine note with a bit of grassiness and a touch of sweetness. Flavor starts with grain and grass but has more of a pine bite in the finish.

650 ml bottle. Pours a clear copper with moderate head. Aromas of pine, tropical fruit, and toasted malts. Flavors of candied grapefruit, rubber, pine, brown sugar, and tropical fruit. Definitely fruity. Very nice but not really distinctive.

From a 22 oz bottle shared at home. Pours black with a tan head. Chocolate hose. Flavors of cocoa nibs, mild chocolate, and vanilla. Smooth and velvety finish.

On tap at Caldera, pours a clear copper orange with a medium creamy off-white head. Aroma brings out skunky, herbal hops, and some weird vegetal notes that are off-putting. Flavour is very astringent, bringing out tons of skunky, herbal hops, those same vegetal notes that aren't as off-putting as on the nose, and maybe some off fruit. Very harsh astringency on the finish. More harsh than it is flavourful, but it is actually quite enjoyable. Decent stuff.

On tap at Caldera, pours a hazy amber with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out toasted caramel, resinous hops, and toasted bread. Flavour is very well-balanced between the hops and malt, with a solid resinous hop punch and a thick caramel malt backbone. Extremely well-crafted strong red ale.

On tap at Caldera, pours a clear pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out medium green chilis, without much else discernible. Flavour isn't that spicy at all, with very mild, restrained green chilis. Pretty creamy body that makes this easy to drink. Decent spiced ale.

On tap at Caldera, pours a clear bronze with a medium beige head. Nose is all coffee - and a fine one at that - with black French press coffee. Flavour brings out nice coffee notes, but there's a spritzy, carbonated water type of body to this that is quite lacking. Pleasant flavours - it's just lacking on the body. Decent.

On tap at Caldera, pours a deep dark amber with a creamy medium beige / tan head. Aroma brings out intense liquid melted chocolate, followed by more subdued coconut. Flavour brings out more of the coconut, with loads of dried coconut flakes, followed by milk chocolate. Creamy, milky palate, with pungent coconut notes. Great stuff.

Bottle. Clear very dark brown liquid with ruby hue and medium off-white head. Aroma of smoke, bread, toffee, sausage, earth and caramel. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with notes of smoke, bacon, sausage, bread and toffee. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Quite nice.
