Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, light molasses, fudge - toffee notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, caramel, fruity, fudge - toffee notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110803]

Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, fruity, light hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, fruity - caramel. Manchester Finest: Clear amber colour, off-white head. Nose is caramel malts, a little fruity. Flavour is caramel malts, fruits, bit of toffee. A bit watery.

Cask@GBBF2011. Amber colour, small beige head. aroma is fruity, caramelly, earthy, nutty with some slight sappy and sprucelike notes. Flavour is fruits, wood, earth, some spruce, caramel and mild bready notes as well.
