Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 5/04/2011. Reddish amber with a slight, off-white head. Sweet aroma of cereal malts and syrupy berry fruits. Flavour of stewed plums and toffee, with not much of a finish. Poor.

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW. Clear, ruby-gold pour with a slight film. Juicy, fruit punch nose. Sweet flavor, plenty of grape, plum and mixed berry, then some toasty malts and hints of earthy bitterness. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Sweet, fruity finish, just slightly bitter and sticky. Some doughy malts poke through. Not for everyone but I enjoyed this.

Dark amber. The aroma has hints of overripe fruit. Quite fruity on the palate, with a little acidity. This is a fairly standard bitter, ok, but not to my personal tastes.

Cask handpull at The Jack Fairman JDW Horley. Clear orange brown colour very thin white head. Some plum fruit on aroma. Its not as sweet as the Polish plum thing we had to endure before. Slightly kiddie sweet on the fruit. Clearly artificial over a non descript slightly malty bitter. More plum sweet artificial flavour on finish. I wont be hurrying back to this one.
