Cask (handpump) @ The York, 82 Islington High St, Islington, London, Greater London England N1 8EQ.Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, toffee, cane sugar, cola. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask handpull at The County Hotel, JDW, Ashford. Amber, lasting beige head. Quite fruity fruit salad fruity bitter. OK condition. Definite tastes a bit like fruit salad kids chews. Some very light hops on finish gives tongue a sitng. OK.

Cask at NWAF 2009. A chestnut colored beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, alcohol, and vegetables. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, vegetables, alcohol, and caramel, leading to a dry and lightly alcoholic finish.

Cask (handpump) @ Doggetts Coat and Badge Blackfriars Bridge London, 1 Blackfriars Road, London SE1 9PD, EnglandClear medium orange color with a average, creamy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, berry fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light light heavy bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20091227]

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Amber with a thin cream head; stewed malt aroma; flavour of stewed malts and caramel; some pleasant hops to finish.

Cask handpull at Samuel Peto, JDW, Folkestone. Not much more than I can add to SilkTork’s rating really other than it tasted a bit of ketchup as well. It’s a brown bitter with some indifferent malt, no real hop presence, a tad of dryness on the end.

Cask @ Counting House. Clear golden colour, small off-white head. Nose is slightly hoppy, fruity, a bit sour apple. Flavour is citric hoppy, biscuit malts, some fruits. A bit watery.
