Fruity hop aroma; slighlt hazy gold with a tiny off-white head; sweet malt flavor with an apple note and a slightly bitter finish. More lagerish than the other ESB’s I’ve had.

Cask hadpump quite regularly at the Hobgoblin on the Cowley Road. Dark reddish strong bitter that is quite malty and fruity, it is quite a busy beer flavour wise but has never been my favourite of the Wychwood stable.

Bottle Tesco Bicetser 29-05-06. Dark brown coloured beer that had a small off white head, slight detection of fruits and malt in aroma, taste is a bit too sweet and plain have they tampered with the recipe? I always recall that it tasted better than this. Fine enough but nothing special.

Bottle, picked up in Morrisons Tewksbury (about a week or two back) Amber coloured beer, with malty nose, bit citrusy in the flavour department but otherwise a bit ordinary.
