(Bottle 65 cl) Hazy, deep golden with a lively, off-white head leaving some lacework. Sweetish aroma of citrus and pine. Medium body with a very solid base of sweet, pale malts and then these incredibly fresh notes of citrus and peach. The finish is lightly bitter. A very fresh IPA. 301107

Murky dark brown with a thin, fleeting head of off-white. Big caramel aroma with a hint of smoke. The flavor is another story, however. A big diacetyl, vegetable disaster. O.K., some diacetyl is acceptable in this style, but this one just didnโ€™t pull it off well.

Bottle Light hazy golden. Huge head...huge...crap its still growing. Gusher yeasty wit aroma. Lively to say the least. Light bodied and wheaty. No obvious effects of infection..just over carbed.

Bomber from a trade with padrefan98 that pours a clear dull orange with white head and nice lacing. The aroma seems sweet and chewy backed up by floral, pine and grapefruit hops. The hops seem to hit first in the flavor with floral then pine then grapefruit then pine again. They seem to blend together smoothly. Thereโ€™s also a thick sweet maltiness that peaks out from behind the curtain of hops now and then and also grows into the finish. Delicious big hoppy brew.

Pours a clear copper with gold edges with light tan head and decent lacing. The aroma has big grapefruit hops, pine hops and sweet caramel malts. The taste is much like the aroma with a bold influx of sweet malts mixed with roasted malts and then a wave of both grapefruit and pine hop bitterness. Those notes mix and create an orange hard candy flavor steeped in grassiness. Toward the finish the sweet malts and lightly roasted malts well up again before the grapefruit hop and pine hop bitterness mixed with mild sweet hop flavor take over and ride into the aftertaste. Solid IIPA.

Draft at the Bistroโ€™s West Coast BA Fest, 11/10/07; Nose extremely hoppy with ivy and pine odors and a winey note; very cloudy copper with a small beige head; flavor shows medium hop bitterness, but not too much, ivy, and some wine and wood notes. Tied for my favorite of the Fest with the Valley Dec Gran Cuvee!

Bottled. A hazy orange-red beer with an orange head. The aroma is very light with notes of fruit and an even slighter acidic note of grapefruit. The flavor is slightly acidic malty with primary notes of grapefruit and berries, leading to a bitter finish.

Bomber pours a very nice crystal clear deep gold with lasting off white head. The aroma is sugar sweet malts and grapefruit hop bitterness and not much else. It could be more pungent. The taste has malty roasted sweetness with full grapefruit hop bitterness. Just a bitter hop bomb with mild malt sweetness. Nice flavor for the style. There is a lingering grapefruit and floral hoppiness that stays around for a while.

Bottle. Pours is a dark brown color and sports a smallish dark tan head. Aromas are of anise and espresso in addition to roasted and chocolate malt. Flavor is lovely, but not as complex or full as some of my all time favorite Imp Stouts. It is heavier on the anise flavor than most I have run across, which is interesting. Other than that, it is a big (you can feel the warmth from the ABV), bold (espresso, dark chocolate, anise, etc.) and dark stout.

Another from Skyview. This beer has good citrus hop aroma. Flavor is well balanced by very sweet malt and more hops, leaving a light hop burn. Gold color. Very good.
