Sampled at the Clocktower, but not sure if this is the right one (as it was written Aged in Pinot Noir). I do not see any info on a Pinot Noir version. Anyways, pours a cloudy amber colour with a creamy off-white head and creamy lacing. Aromas of caramel malt and hops. Fruity with a little alcohol. Beautiful creamy mouthfeel, quite smooth, with a hop dryness in the finish. Fruity malt taste with grassy citrus hops and grainy cereal in the end. Nice bitterness in the aftertaste. This is a pretty different beer for the Clocktower, but a nice direction. Great collaboration with Beyond the Pale.

Thanks to PaleAleRider for this one, straight from the brewery. Pours a hazy amber colour with a beige-yellow head that has good retention and limited lacing. Great aromas of hops, but not your typical hopbomb. Well mixed with the fruity and caramel malts. Very slight dry mouthfeel. Grainy malt taste with the hop presence, but again, not too crazy. Just right with some grassy notes that lingers. Gets cloudy near the last pour. This is a pretty good brew. Probably one of my favorites so far from this brewery.

CASK: Same appearance. In aroma, more pungent and acidic notes. In mouth, lightly dryer and corky, fruity and tannins notes, nice.

A reddish amber Belgian pale ale 5 .8 39 ibu, with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet banana malt with light acidity, wood extract, so-so. In mouth, a sweet fruity malt with light cloves, white grape skin, grassy notes. Ok. Cask: hazed version with no head. In aroma, more hopped up than regular version, with smooth herbal hops, treacle, nice. In mouth, smooth hoppy fruity malt with grassy notes, thinner but nice.

1 Litre bottle from the brewer (thankfully tried cool and not warm like the first review). Pours a dark brown with very little highlights. The small head is beige coloured with decent retention and wavy lacing. Beautiful sweet nose from the oat, with roasted malts and coffee. Medium-bodied and not too heavy with a little stickiness. Well-hidden alcohol, goes down very well. Fruity malt taste with hints of coffee, chocolate and apples in the finish, that is slightly dry. Quite pleasant and even refreshing for such a dark strong beer.
