Description
We are a micro brewery based in Lockwood, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire and we also now have our own TapHouse, The Corner in Huddersfield's Market Walk We brew high quality cask conditioned real ales, bottle conditioned beers and limited quantities of Key Keg. Over the years, we have gained a reputation for producing crisp, clean flavoured hoppy ales. Our speciality is single hopped variety ales. We are regularly trying new hop varieties and blending different hops to create new flavours. We always stock a variety of single hopped beers, as well as semi-regulars and new one-off brews which enable us the explore different hop and malt combinations.

(Cask at Harp, Charing Cross, London, 28 Nov 2022) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of grass, citrus, biscuits, cereal and resin. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, grapefruit, resin, grass, biscuits and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Fresh and tasty, with a good citric hop presence. Nice one.

Handpull cask at the Kings Head, Leicester. Light to kid-gold and clear with a thin layer of white head. Aroma is chalky citrus candy, grassy notes, lemon balm. Bittersweet tand with a lovely balanced hoppy biteback after the initial sweet notes. Lemony bitterness lingers in the aftertaste. One of the better Mallinsons pales.
