Keg @ Smithfield Market Tavern, Manchester. Golden with a head. Slightly over-carbonated pale, with mild Belgian pale ale pale malt notes and a strength to proceedings, but nothing disturbing its taste too much. There's mild tropical fruit notes in both aroma and taste.

Cask @ Smithfield Market Tavern, Manchester. Not quite black but close. Certainly milky though, fair body, fair roasted character, smooth in the palate, lots of chocolate, which lingers in its aftertaste.
