Timothy Taylor's
Commercial Brewery
in Keighley,
West Yorkshire,
England 🏴
Associated with 15 Venues
Established in 1858
The superb spring water that wells up from deep under the Pennines is still used today to produce the country's best traditional cask ales.
The brewery remains in the Taylor family and is now the last independent brewery of its type left in West Yorkshire. This independence enables Taylors to survive as one of the few brewers still brewing true cask ales in the same way it has always done."Taylor's Taste" is achieved by using only the finest natural ingredients, taking pride in the brewing process and allowing full time for the ales to ferment and mature, thereby creating a unique family of beers.
We have come a long way since 1858. Our beers have won many awards and worldwide acclaim. This is seen within our product range.

Cask ale, half pint at The Champion. Deep ruby-black body, upper part lacing from a declining beige head. Aromas of earthy chocolate, inviting. Flavoured with liquorice, chocolate, ash, and a touch of dried fruits. Mid-dry, lightly roasted, chocolate malts to the finish. Like it (Bayswater, London, 01.03.2026).

500ml bottle from Sainsbury's. Pours black, with a nice off-white collar. Aroma of soft roast, continuing to taste, light bodied as expected, bit of a Guinness feel to it, slightly more earthy and grainy.. not bad.

Fra cask på Fullers Heathrow T2: klar gylden med eksemplarisk skum. Fin aroma og deilig, crisp smak med citrus, furuskog, brød og hint av urter. Sklir sorgløst over drøvelen.

A pleasant mild, perhaps a tad hoppy for a mild. Couple of pints of draught in the Victoria Comet, Newcastle with a plate of fish and chips.
