750 c&c from the Republique Monoprix. Pours gold with a slight, transient white head. Aroma is primarily pear with some apple beneath. Med body or so. Flavor is mildly sweet apple, but the pear is clearly present. Towards the finish it becomes a little sweet/tart. Nice level of carbonation. Quite refreshing.

75cl bottle. Pours a misty orange. Aroma is pulpy medium-sweet apple fruit, body is smooth, fruity, medium-sweet, some pulpy apple, hints of caramel, light farmhouse feel. Very good doux.

(Bottle, 0.75 l, from Stockmann, 20170413) The cider poured deep golden and clear. Thin lacing on the surface of the drink. Aroma sweet apple juice and hint of sourness. Palate was light bodied with rather high carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, apple juice and a hint of tartness. Aftertaste was sweet and thin. Like a diluted cider.

Bottled. Golden colour witha small white head. Aroma is green apples, mild acidic notes as well as some winelike notes. Flavour is green apples, some wineous notes as well as some slight herbs and slight sweet sugary notes with mild funk and wood.

75cl bottle from Auchan. Pours clearish orange, small white head. Aroma is vibrant fruity peach that doesn’t come across as artificial. Taste continues, bringing to mind Lindemans pecheresse. Quite a nice sparkle too, and nice balance of flavours, not overly sweet. Yes the French prove good, classy fruit cider is possible.

75cl bottle. Pours clear pink, aroma is bright & fruity with light syrup. Taste is lightly syrupy with lots of fleshy berry fruit. Bit too sweet for me but its not too bad.

330ml bottle from Auchan Lille. Pours a deep red with bubbly off-white head. Aroma is sharp kriek cherry with some sugary cherry juice. Taste is is quite a full cherry juice character with some residual cidre sweetness backing things up. Harmless enough and not too sweet.

750ml bottle from Vival, Bidart. Pours clear yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of sweet apple. Faint dry, tangy note. Almost orange peel, but not quite. Taste is dry, ripe apples and straw. Dry finish. Best cidre so far!
