Leftovers from tasting at Alex's (thx, man!). Pours a bit hazy brown with no head. Aroma is sweet apples, wood, some caramel. Taste is very sour and sweet apples with lots of wood. Quite good.

Growler - Vintage 2011 - Caramel and toffee with sweet sticky apple and spice. Deep caramel. Almost woody and apple with some baking spices and a long dark raisin finish.

Golden-brown. Has a really strong dark toffeeish honey notes. Tart, deep fruitiness and a lot of really nice dark sugars. Toffee, apple, and quite complex. I like this.

75cl bottle in Paris. Sweet apple nose, lightest of tannins, more like juice. Pretty pale rose color, effervescent, lace. Flavor is sweet apple juice with a touch of sour green apples and a bit of tannin in the finish. Lightly tart raspberry character as well. Decent, but a bit gimmicky and almost cloying. Tasty, though.

Pours a clear brown with light head. Aromas of raisins, tobacco, woody brandy, and sugary baked green apples. Intense. Favors follow same with additional apple pie spice. Beauty.

Bottle, keistered by fiulijn for 6 years, pours a deep dark mahogany / chestnut brown with a tiny head. Nose is full of red berries, toffee, brown sugar and sherry-like oxidation. Flavour is intensely sweet, cloying brown sugar notes, sherry-like oxidation, alcohol and red berries. Cloyingly sweet even for an ice cider, but it works okay. Not one of the more complex ice ciders, but it's pleasant.
