Bottle thnx to stefaan . Pours clear blonde . Good fast fading white head Scent is much caramel Taste is bitter , coockiedough , bit floral , bit sweet . Thin mouthfeel . bit caramel , which i dont think goes hand in hand with the hops .. Ok beer

On tap at Delirium Hoppy Loft, pours an opaque murky amber with a medium white head. Nose brings out lots of dried dark fruits, toffee and brown sugar. Flavour is exactly the same, with loads of toffee, figs / dates, and a sufficient hop dosage to balance things out. Very low residual sweetness, making this is a highly drinkable and dangerous barley wine. Excellent stuff.

On tap at Delirium Hoppy Loft, pours a cloudy orange with a medium white head. Aroma is fairly subtle for a IIPA, with biscuity notes and a touch of citrus hops. Flavour brings out a balance of biscuity malts and citrusy floral hops. Certainly not as pungent on the hops as American IIPAs, but very well-balanced and constructed. Decent.

On tap at Delirium Hoppy Loft, pours a cloudy orange with a medium white head. Nose brings out fruity citrus notes, zest, and light floral hops. Flavour is smooth and dry, with citrus zest, wheat and floral hops. Very drinkable and balance. Solid pale ale.

At a tasting, thanks zvsn, small bubly head, opaque black colour, aroma of dark bread, carob, hint of prunes and wood, a bit perfumy, flavour of dark bitter chocolate with some chocolate cake and a hint of coffee, light sweetness and a strong chocolate bitterness. Quite nice but not too exciting.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks zvsn. Black with a big light brown head. Roasty aroma, a bit weak. Bittersweet roasty flavor with some coffee, a bit of cocoa and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied.

Bottle, courtesy of tderoeck (thanks a lot, Tim), pours black with a medium tan head. Nose brings out roasted malt, some notes of oxidation, and earthiness. Flavour is silky and smooth, with notes of roast, dry cocoa, earth and light oxidation. Very dry and silky on the palate, with no residual sweetness. Not overly high on the complexity, but the balance and drinkability is high. Very nice German impie.

Pitch black beer, big creamy foamy beige head, little stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of caramel, sweet, bit sugary, malty, some mocha, alcohol, bit of vanilla. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet, mocha, dark chocolate, bit sour, cocoa powder, bit malty, alcohol. Aftertaste: nice bitterness, bit of sour berries, blackberries, mocha, dark chocolate, cocoa powder.

At the Hannoversches Bierfest, bottled 33 cl, on June 6, 2014. BB 13.05.15.Murky orange color, medium sized teal head. Hoppy, citrus, malty scent. Citrus, bitter, alcohol taste. Medium mouthfeel, big bitterness. Warming alcohol.
