Bottle @ benzai. Hazy yellow colour with small white head. Smells boullion, salty, sweetish, malty. Tastes like a kuit beer, weird, very mediocre. Thin body, soft carbo.

Bottle shared by Dutchdrebus @ weekly tasting. Lightly hazy yellow color, small white head. Aroma is completely off imo: honey, sweetness, malts, wort. Taste is watery, slightly sweetish, weird and yuk. Totally weird and not nice at all. Disappointing.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, reddish dark amber colour with late awakening, average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Fruity, bitter hoppy aroma has notes of blood orange, red currant, a sweaty, resinous touch, caramel malty basis with hints of toffee. Taste is bitter hoppy, fruity hints of blood orange, grapefruit, cautious malty background with a touch of toffee and bitter almond; lasting bitter finish with hints of warming alcohol. Oily palate.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes dunkel bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit shcöner beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, Dörrobst, alkoholisch, holzig. Geschmack sehr mild fruchtig malzig, leicht holzig, überreifes Dörrobst, alkoholischer und leicht brennender Abgang.

Bottle. A lightly unclear, dark golden beer with a small, off-white head. Piney, citrusy aroma with a touch of alcohol. Malts too. A bit sweet on the palate, but nice anyway. Pale malts, citrus peel, pine cones and alcohol. A nice bitterness too, all the way, finishing mostly bitter, with citrus peel and some pineapple. A bit simple and straightforward, but it’s a fine beer anyway. 140418

Bottle. An unclear, dark golden beer topped by a small, white head. Citrusy, piney aroma with some caramel maltyness. Some peaches and pineapple too. It’s lightly bitter on the palate, pleasantly carbonated and with a maltyness in the back. Peaches, citrus peel and pine cones too. Some bitterness in the finish. Overall, a decent one, better than the Foundation 11 pale ale at least, but I’m not impressed in any way. 140418
