Looking for the real taste of Antwerp? Since 1833, there has been just one address: our Antwerp City Brewery. Because when people get together in Antwerp, they do so more often than not with a Bolleke Koninck in their hand. And that’s how De Koninck has become synonymous with Antwerp –and vice-versa. Every day, we work hard to uphold this proud tradition while also experimenting on ways to perfect and reinvent the taste of Antwerp.

Аромат вполне нормальный и обычный, немного карамели, солод в целом, есть хмелевые нотки на оттенке вместе с травами. Вкус снова с карамельном оттенке, но не жареном а с дымком. При глотке легкие травы снова и хмель европейский. В целом питко и нормально.

Old rating from 2003 - 330ml bottle in Antwerp, pours golden with a white head. Aromas & tastes of apples, orange peel, honey & yeast. Medium body. Dry light bitter finish

Bottle. Clear amber with a nice white head. Aroma of stewed fruits, malts, nuts and caramel. Taste of malts, red fruits, bread, toffee and herbs. Strong bitterness. Medium carbonation. Very balanced and highly sessionable. Lovely.

14/I/25 - 1L crowler from the brewery (Antwerpen) @ Syntra Zytho food pairing class (Gent), BB: n/a, just a few days old (2025-30) Thanks to Emiel (?) for sharing the crowler!

Clear yellow blond beer, small aery irregular white head, unstable, dissipates quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: nice, fruity, tropical fruits, juicy, spicy touch, citrus, pineapple, some passion fruits, very pleasant! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: a little dank up front, hoppy, gentle bitterness, malty touch, a hint of caramel, some tropical fruits, marijuana, decent! Aftertaste: more fruity, some oranges, a hint of grapefruit, zesty, nice bitterness, hoppy finish.

Clear golden pour with a somewhat stable head. Aroma is malt, sweet bread/brioche, yeast, a hint of coriander. Taste is orange peel, sweet bread/brioche, coriander and a hint of vanilla. Nice.
