Draught at Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, Newark, NJ
Murky orange-blond color with compact head. The aroma is a bit fruity and animal. Moderate sweetness, correct body strength; nice support from the pale malts; huge hopping, giving a strong resiny and animal character, a bit fruity too.
Nicely brutal, a bit rough though.

Bottle split at CBC Clerko from an IP trade with JTClockwork, 06/01/15. Light black with a decent tan covering that holds up well. Nose is earthy roast, lactic notes, dark fruit rinds, chocolate, coffee, dark red berry. Taste comprises more lactic strokes, brown sugar, light coffee, earthy, charr, dark fruit rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, earthy cocoa and charr in the close. Ok, just ... Ok.

pours slightly unclear yellow . Small white head .Smell is mango-style fruity hops . Taste is bitter , very fruit-forward ( mango , oranges , aspects of pine ) with a well balanced bitterness to it . Ending is slightly dry bitter , some grassy notes, with a mild fruity undertone . Overall very balanced , and just another very nice US IIPA .

Bottle thanks to Dmac shared at Anchorage Jan ’15 Tasting: Poured a dark brown to almost black with a thin tan head. Nice oak and sweet dark fruit aroma. Very on point with loads of dark sticky fruit blending with candy sugar, bourbon, vanilla, and oak.

Location: Draft Stewed Cow, 2/8/15

Aroma: Sweet aroma of banana and Belgian yeast.
Appearance: It pours a clear golden-orange color with a small head and no lace.
Flavor: The flavor is fairly sweet, not cloying though, later yeast/spice finish.
Palate: It is light-medium bodied, with a soft carbonation, and a fairly short duration.
Overall Impression: This one is solid enough. Unlike the refs in this MD-Iowa game, who couldn't be worse at their jobs. If they were a beer, I'd give those guys a 0.5. Way to suck at your job.

Tasting at Craft Clerkenwell. Thanks to Senior Bois. Opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Mellow dark malts, trace of coffee. There is a dominant flavour on the back end which is burned milk and it’s pretty unpleasant. Finishes semi dry. Seems to be just me that doesn’t like this but that burned milk flavour is making me want to spit this out - bleeurgh!
