Bottle: Poured a black brown with a tan color head. Aroma is roasted malts. Taste is a sugary caramel and malt mess. Leaves the mouth tingly at finish.

Bottle: Poured a golden color with a froathy white head. Aroma is sour grain and rum. Taste is sweet with rum and a weak grainy finish. Drain pour material!

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark amber. Aroma and taste are dark fruits, malt, spices and caramel.

Dark Amber color. Medium head. Good hoppy aroma with lots of fruit and decent malt as well. Rather sweet flavor, more than usual for the type. Good fruit and hops as well, though. A touch of honey and a bit nutty too. Not as dry as the good English types. Some citrus as well. Good hop finish, quite bitter. Really good, though a touch below the top stuff.

Bottle on 11/30/2008 at the 3rd Annual Richmond Industry Gathering. Clear golden body with a small off-white head. Sweet caramel and light butter aroma. Very sweet caramel flavor with some peat. Medium body with low carbonation.

Bottle, 10%. Slightly rough aroma. Clear dark golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is quite sweet and malty, but has some graininess and rough malt to it. Not undrinkable, though.

25cl can, pours clear yellow with a thin white head. Smells sweet with some lemon and sugar cane notes topped off with some hop aromas. Flavors are very sweet with a big alcohol burn. This is unbelievably sweet, too much.

Bottle, Barleycorns, Nantwich. Big heavy brown colour with a dissipating yet thick off white head. Aroma of caramel malt, sour cherry. Moderately sweet and very well balanced with great hop bitterness and a pleasingly warm finish.Think this could well be the best xmas brew Ive thus far tasted. Very enjoyable.
