Smooth texture although rather watery. Flavour has a creamy maltiness. It?s got light bitterness. On the whole it’s light on flavour.

[Cask at Copa, Reading] Orange-brown with a moderate creamy head. Fairly thick mouthfeel with a slight fizz. Treacley malts, with some toffee, plums and autumn leaf mulch. Sweet, rather dull. Recognisably Greene King, unfortunately, but not as poor as some of theirs.

Not a bad soft-carbonated ale, though it’s the second unremarkable English ale of the I’ve tried in a row. The last one, Sam Smith’s winter ale, was a touch better, stronger hops taste than this one.

50cl bottle from ABCBeers. Thin almost non-existent head. Clear golden/amber pour. Ok tasting beer.

Pours dark amber with typical nitro head.Faint aromas, sweet light caramel, toffee, butterscotch. Once again, typical nitro ale characters..Very sweet flavours, lots of toffee, caramel and faint toasty malt.Could use more carbonation, feels a bit slick.

Bottle from Yamaya. Slight skunk smell, with light caramel malts, tobacco, grass, tiny bit of citrus. Bland nose. Glowing copper brown, low, fine head, bubbled rising. Light citrus hops, grass, medium caramel malt, quite grassy, really, touch of raisin. Tastes decent. Not exciting at all, but ok. Rather light on the body and fizzy.

Bottle. Nose is a bit skunked from the clear bottle...otherwise light malts, a bit of carmel, touch of cinnamon, hay. Rther unexciting nose. Deep orange-amber color with a low, thick, head. Rather pretty. Light malt, mineral flavor, somewhat sweet, caramel, bit of vanilla, slight touch of earthy hops. Slightly peppery finish. Dull.

Cask at the GBBF. Amber with a small off-white head. Fruity aroma with a caramel note. Sweet and malty flavour with a touch of grassy hops.

Cask, somewhere in London when on holiday. Clear dark copper color, small lacing on top. Don’t smell much, just a slight bitterness. Taste is pretty poor, weak, lightly bitter, nothing more. Not even a nice bitterness. No carbo, no body.
