Keg at the Crown, Hazlmere, 24/12/2025.
Moderately hazed topped with a lasting white head.
Nose is orange peel, grass, airy malts, syrupy sweet and artificial.
Taste comprises faint citric peel, more artifical syrupy notes, peach syrup, sweet.
Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, semi drying close with modest hop bitterness.
Sweet flabby pseudo craft.

Cask at the Old Trout, Southend on 10th December 2025. Crystal clear copper with shallow foam and almost no lacing. Rich malty aroma. Intense nutty maltiness in-mouth and finish. Velvet smooth texture and a full body.

Bottle from somewhere and had as part of my homemade advent calendar. Good pour and a real malt assault on the nose. You can really taste the house yeast and there was an weird aniseed flavour. Yeast, some bitter hops and a shed load of malt. Ok, but wouldn't buy again.

On tap at The Cricketers, Southwick. Tropical fruit & citrus aromas. Lots of stone fruits & citrus in the taste. Fruity & lightly hoppy. Would work better on a balmy hot summers day (we don't have many of them over here 😁).

Cask @ The Hawley Arms, London. Clear amber with a small white head. Aroma of tea, citrus fruits and diacetyl. Taste of citrus fruits, biscuits, butter, malts and tea. Moderate bitterness. Low carbonation. Thin. Barely ok and didn‘t make me go get a second one.
