Strange sprucey , kinda medicinal taste. But I'm at The Grapes, a pub from 1583 co-owned by Ian McKellen. Awesome place! Simple, small pub on the Thames.

7/10/2025. Cask at the Greene King Beer Café, Bury St Edmunds. Decent pour. Aroma is hoppy, honey, herbal, citrus, grassy, resiny, stewed tropical fruits, slight sour edge. Moderate sweetness and bitterness, sour tang. Moderate body, average to soft carbonation. Looked good but a bit disappointing otherwise and not at all sure about the sour notes.
