The Gyle 59 Brewery. Spring fed, log powered, propane driven, unfined, hazy crazy artisan beers. We want you to notice what you are drinking.

All our beers are created with one thing in mind - flavour. We are lucky enough to have a unique supply of spring water which we are using to good effect allowing the many different qualities of our ingredients to shine through.

Cask-conditioned at the Hare, Bristol 28/9/2015. Hazy yellow, with a thin, off-white, head. A pleasant wheat beer with bananas, cloves, grainy malts and a touch of herbs before a gentle finish. Refreshing on a surprisingly warm late September afternoon.

Cask gravity at End of the Road Festival, Dorset, Saturday 5th September 2015. Reasonably hoppy golden ale, citrussy then dry, it’s an ok beer to start the day. A slight murky gold/light amber coloured beer. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

bottle from Sidmouth Wines. Amber colour, small head. Malty start, some earthy hops that also have a fruity touch in the far background.

Bottle split with James, 30/08/15. Amber with reddish hues, decent off white covering. Nose is straw, lemon rind, earthy, spice. Taste comprises rye bread, light floral, spice, citric tinged, wooded notes, faint red berry must. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent saison.

Bottle split with James, thanks to James, 30/08/15. Hazed amber, moderate off White covering. Nose is light plastic, moderate hop profile, straw, citric peel, orange. Taste comprises bitter orange, mango strains, hop notes, light caramel. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Some hop bitterness present. Ok ... not a DIPA for me, lacks hops and tropicana, touch to on much plastic and chemicals

Bottle split with James, thanks to he, 30/08/15. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is light soap, straw, farmyard, lemon rind. Taste comprises bitter orange, light yeast, grassy, light spice, lemon. Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough saison.

Bottle split with and thanks to James, 30/08/15. Light black with limited tan bubbledom. Nose is dark fruits, treacle toffee, toasted brown sugar, molasses. Taste comprises chocolate, light roast, earthy red berry, pinch of spice, light charr, toffee, good coffee vibes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent stout.

Cask at GBBF 2015, Olympia, London. A hazy golden coloured pour with a thin white head on top. Wheaty, fruity, spice aroma. Tastes similar, wheaty, fruity, banana, spice.

GBBF Day 2. Cask. Very hazy gold beer, no head. Palate is light and semi dry. Low carbonation. Light thin malts. Tangy lemon. Trace of peel. Tangy floralness. Light finish. Okay.

Cask at GBBF 2015, day 5 - London. Pours Lightly hazy yellow-gold with a frothy, white head. Lightly doughy wheat in the nose, faint lemon zest. Light-medium sweet flavor with flaked wheat, white bread, bitter lemon rind, hay. Light in body with fine carbonation; good condition. Nicely balanced to finish, more wheat bread, lemon, mellow bitter hay. Solid wheat ale.
