Description
AC Golden is a small-batch brewery nestled within the walls of the Coors brewery in Golden, CO. Named in tribute to our founding brewmaster and eternal entrepreneur, Adolph Coors. The thought was to carve out a space that gave our brewers enough runway to invent, explore, and roll up their sleeves to brew exceptional beers that have a story to share. Just like Adolph Coors did back in 1873.
Admin Note: Brewery is located inside the Coors Production facility. Home of the Colorado Native Brand.

Bomber sampled at a tasting. From notes. Tart peach with a dose of spicy hops. Not really getting any of the oak though. Again, i always knew the big guys could brew decent beer.

From a 12 bottle shared at home. Pours a clear amber with an off white head. Light malty aroma. Some grassy notes. Effervescent but quite smooth and refreshing. I was prepared to not like this beer because it is from a behemoth brewery, but it was actually pretty darn good.

Bottle @ Crooked Stave WWBV pre-party and again at Avery/Boulder Sourfest 2013. Pours a cloudy yellow appearance with a white head. Wow! Very funky, lemony, lactic, cheesy (!), vanilla, barnyard aroma. More funk in the flavor along with some bread, must, vanilla, citrus, and cheese. Holy shit this is good. Troy is doing some really unbelievable things these days and this is exhibit A. FUCK YEAH!

75cl bottle, splt with Tomaz, courtesy of Pierre. Bottled 04/12/2012, batch#2. Wow, Coors ... seriously?
