Description
At present there are five of us working at the brewery – Luke and Stuart who assist with deliveries and the cleaning and filling of casks. In the office, there’s Julia AKA Fuzzy, who doubles as Droxford’s famous lollipop lady. She keeps all the paperwork in good order which is a good thing because this was a weakness of ours. The Bowman family is of course completed by Ray and myself.
Our beers have evolved over the years into three really popular regular brews and each month we have a 4.5% special on too.

Cask (Bitter Virtue, Southampton) - Red in colour. Cinnamon, ginger, cloves and fruitcake in the aroma. Spicy and fruity taste with notes of fruitcake, mince pies, cloves, ginger and cinnamon. Fairly spicy but still well balanced and enjoyable.

Huddersfield Beer Festival. Golden ale. The nuttiness is more than evident in its nose, just slightly less stated in its taste which is fairly crisp despite a fuller body. Has some grain here too.

Cask at Derehams Inn beer festival, High Wycombe. Amber with a small white head. Caramel with maybe a little baked apple. On the sweet side. Not a lot else. Sweet and bland really. Bowman are normally better than this.
