From US. Dark golden colour, mid-sized white head. Pine and resin in the nose. Medium-bodied. Pine, resin and some caramalt, a bit of fruityness. Balanced, resiny, old schoolish. Good.

Cette double Haze IPA titrant à 9 % laisse largement ressortir l'alcool, ce qui pour le genre est troublant. Ce petit déséquilibre ne gâche pas complètement la dégustation pour une bière qui conserve de belles qualités, mais avec 7 %, je crois qu'elle ne s'en tirerait que mieux. Sur le visuel, nous sommes sur un blond orangé légèrement voilé avec une effervescence peu soutenue et une mousse blanc cassé nappant la surface. Le nez est sur un joli cocktail d'ananas, mangue, agrumes et herbes. En bouche on retrouve ces mêmes arômes, efficaces avec un bonne amertume et un sucre pas trop présent. Les 9 % envoient du lourd toutefois. Corpulence et longueur sont bonnes. Encore un petit réglage à opérer.

355ml can from Benny’s Place, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a murky reddish brown colour with a thin broken white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is grainy, toffee caramel. The flavour is over moderate bitter, with a crisp, fresh, metallic, resin, light toffee, big woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

12 oz bottle from Total Wine, Las Vegas, NV. Pours a hazy gold color with a thick white head and great retention. Decent lacing. Light lemon aroma, as expected. Very lemonade-forward flavor. More of a fruit beer versus a shandy IMHO. Smooth, clean,and refreshing, especially after a workout. Tastes great, but it’s not beery enough. Very chuggable. Medium-light body. Medium-light carbonation. Zero bitterness.

12 oz bottle from Total Wine, Las Vegas, NV. Pours a clear dark gold color with a large, rocky, khaki head and excellent retention. Spotty lacing. Very resinous hops aroma. The taste follows the nose: Strong piney hops flavor with strong bitterness and a drying finish. Tastes like an IPA to me. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Too bitter for me.
