This was poured into an English pint glass.
The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a thin off white almost to tan foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Lacing was there and leveled off at a nice pace.
The smell had vanilla bean up front with a nice roasty note to it complemented by a rich to sweet cocoa and coffee bliss roaming all about.
The taste was mainly sweet with a nice roasty and semi-bitter balance to it. Coffee, cocoa, vanilla, light maple and subtle dark fruits all come together in the taste to blend really nicely.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionable feel to it. Carbonation feels nice (fairly low), allowing the dark fruits to try and make a subtle stickiness, still the dryness from the coffee bean slides in for the balance on the feel.
Overall, so did they use a lager yeast for this, I don’t know but judging by the feel, I’d say they might have, hmmm....not sure. Still, its a nice Baltic Porter that I would have again.

The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a slim little white head. Stringy lacing sticks and then slides into the beer.
The aroma starts off with sweet danky onion with a nice balance of the juicy sweet citrus. Bittersweet pine blends in underneath.
The taste takes the previously mentioned flavors to blend very nicely. A dry bitter piney to juicy citrus leads into the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionable quality about it. Carbonation runs fairly light allowing the bitterness of the hops be the bulk of the the harshness on the feel with a nice oily to semi-slick coating on my tongue.
Overall, I say this was a fabulous DIPA that I would definitely have again.

22oz bottle pours a murky gold with some clumpy, white head. Nose has fresh cream and grass, chive, dill, pine, soap. Flavor is sour cream and onion dip, grass, lemon, mild soap. Finishes creamy. Solid and real fresh.

The appearance was a grapefruit peel looking color. The head was extremely minimal and quickly slid into the beer. Extremely and barely any lacing clung yet slid into the beer.
The smell had a grapefruit sting laying into some sweet grassy hops. A light amount of dry citrusy notes acquaint themselves into the rest of the aroma.
The taste takes the grapefruit to bring about a nice bitterness to coincide with the sweetness of the hops, mainly balanced with a nice dry grapefruit-rind bitter aftertaste. Definitely a light dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionable to sipping quality about it. Carbonation runs nice for a DIPA with a do-able \"bitter\" harshness wanting to pound my tongue, but still leaving enough to be subtle.

Bottle at the DC December Gathering #2. Hazy orange with off-white head. Aromas of tropical and citrus fruit, floral. Tastes of tropical and citrus fruit, lemon zest, floral. Medium body with a dry finish.

Great balance here. Citrus and light green onions. Almost tastes like tree house green without the arrogance. Tangy bitter finish. Orange pour. Nice. Bottle shared by nimbleprop.

22oz bottle pours a murky pineapple gold with some lacing, frothy, white head. Nose has a lot of pith and soap, lemon rind, grapefruit, straw, grass. Flavor really opens up with plenty of tropical fruit, pineapple, guava, grass, some tangerine, Meyer lemon, some honey. Slick and bitter finish. Old school smell, new school taste.

Bomber picked up at Craft Beer Cellar, Waterbury, VT and drunk at home. Orange gold, with a deep haze. Film and side serving of bubbly, white head. Nose is jammy strawberry. Tinned pear. Light, fresh herb. Sweet and juicy. Taste is chewy sweet and fruity, stony bitter. Soft, and easy drinking, with good body. Lots of depth. Bitterness builds toward the end, and balances out the sweetness beautifully. This grew on me a lot. Hugely drinkable. Lovely.

The appearance was a hazy burnt to bronzed orange to brown color with a slim finger-ed white concave foamy head that dissipated nice and evenly. Lacing was somewhat there.
The smell had sweet and spicy rye up front letting in light citrus enveloping a slight piney element underneath. Malts seem to stay underneath as well.
The taste was moderately sweet with a nice bitter citrus rind and spiced rye sliding in underneath. Dry citrus to rye aftertaste roaming into same sort of finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation feels good.
Overall, an AIPA with a nice spicy to sweet rye aspect meeting citrus and a light caramel malt. I’d say this was a pretty good one to have again.
