Nice Belgian style yeast flavors are complimented by a bit of funk and some slightly fruity hops as well. I enjoyed this one. Nice beer.

Thought this was solid, though it didn't quite get there for me. Pours amber with a small head. Aroma is malty and a little bready. Rye/spice comes through as well. Solid, similar flavor. Drinks with a bit of fizz.

Hops Hill, Brooklyn tap: Pours light golden with a white head. Aroma is spice, full fruitiness, and some grain. Taste is lightly spicy, very fruity (not citrusy), a bit sweet, and not that dry. This is very clearly a saison, but it is not the dry kind, rather the sweet kind. The peppery touch is nice. Good, not great. I had this right after the Prairie Brett C, so it was facing some tough competition.

A hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light Orval notes, light Brett, light lactic notes, coriander notes, curacao , very nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice smooth fruity malt with light grassy hops, light citrus pulp, curacao, very nice and smooth, refreshing summer beer. Bottle from brewery. Puhskinwow’s Big Deck tasting.

On tap at The Ginger Man, NY. A hazy, orange-golden beer with a finger-thick white head. The aroma is mostly on the peachy side, with some generic tartish fruityness chiming in. It’s lightly tart on the palate, dry and medium to full-bodied, with a nice carbonation level. Some bitterness, hints of sea-buckthorn and with a generic fruity touch. Lasting fruity, tart finish. A nice beer indeed, but a tad one dimensional. 150624

Bottle brought by me to clockworks for a tasting I’d like to apologize to his ceiling for the exploding cork. Nose is white wine and barnyard. Tastes of white grapes, Chardonnay, hay, Brett, florals, and lemon. Pretty good.
