Established in 2010
Almanac was founded in 2010 by Damian Fagan and Jesse Friedman, two avid home-brewers who bonded over their mutual appreciation for California farmers markets. They set out to brew beers inspired by California’s rich agricultural bounty. After nearly seven years of partner brewing, we moved into our very own 30,000 square-foot production & aging facility located on a historic naval airbase on Alameda Island in San Francisco Bay.

Can. Hazy orange with a loose cm of white head. Aroma of oranges, lime, some coconut, light bread. Light bodied so that the murk doesn't make it chalky - but then the herbal astringency at the slightly bitter end threatens to bite. But it's a pretty good balancing act and the beer is fruity and refreshing.

Can from Total Wine in Vacaville, CA. Pours hazy gold with a large foamy white head. Tropicals waft from the pour. Med body or better. It's juicy but not really sweet. There's quite a tang. Bitter. Dank works for me. Citrus, melon, passion fruit and more. Lots going on here. It has that cryo aspect of many Anchorage NEIPAs. Excellent flavor.

Clear golden colour with thin head and fine carbonation. Peachy elements definitely there in aroma and flavour. Delicate fruity floral hop notes. Tangy. Woody notes too, even a touch of vanilla.

Can, 0.473l. Aroma is citrusy, piney, herbal and grainy. Pours hazy dark golden color with thin soapy white head and average sparkling appearance. Tastes refreshing citrusy, unripe tropical fruity, herbal and grainy, mouthfeel is rather dry, while finish is average bitter. Medium body, oily texture and lively carbonation in palate. Dank love…
