Aromas and flavors are very similar, both with floral and pine resin hops. Flavors are a little sweet up front with much stronger bitterness coming on. Body and carbonation are okay with the bitter remaining strong through the end.

Half at Hopcat. Milky yellow golden pour, head fades to ring. Aroma and taste feature the candy banana flavors and bubblegum notes, but a bit sweet and very artificial. Body is almost there, but a shade light.

Tap. Pours cloudy chestnut, medium off white head, good lacing. Aroma ia wheat, roasty banana, clove. Flavors ia light plus sweet, minimal bitterness. Medium body. Good. Also too cold.

Nice traditional alt beer. Aromas are the best part with dark malt, roast, Cocoa, perfume. Flavors are similar to nose, not quite as complex, traditional, dark malt roast nice balance between bitter and sweet. Good body and carbonation, pleasant finish.

Sampled from the tap at Minnesota Winterfest 2018. Pours a clear deep copper with a tan head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has lots straw, grain and bread with some earthy grass underlying. Flavor has a combination of straw, grains and grass with some bread and earthiness backing.
