26/10/2024. Can bought at a random supermarket in Fukuoka. Pours clear bright amber orange with a small frothy white head. Looks the part. Aroma is sweet malts, caramel, old hops, stewed fruits, resiny notes. Very sweet with moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily, average carbonation. Pretty disappointing “craft” effort. 28/4/2025. Can bought from Yutaka Shop online. Inadvertent purchase. Similar characteristics but I enjoyed this more than the one I had in Japan which I only gave a 5.9.

21/10/2024. Can bought at a 7-Eleven in the Otamechi area of Tokyo. Pours clear amber with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is lemony, malted, piney, touch dank, stewed tropical fruits, old hops. Medium sweetness and bitterness. Moderate body, oily. average diminishing carbonation. It seemed a bit muddled.

Bottled. Medium orange to light amber, hazy, tall head. Huge burst of grassy, citrus hops as expected in a very freshly hopped ale. Medium caramel bready malt there too. This is grassy, citrus, herbal, huge on the hops but manages to just stay balanced. An impressive use of fresh hops that is almost too much but works.

12oz can from Newport Avenue Market. Cloudy pale golden pour, silky tight white head. Light citrusy aroma. Taste starts with some citrus and morphs into bready malts, mild zesty bite, mellow tropical flavors. Creamy feel.

Date stamped 02.24. are almost in flavors are slightly old resin and citrus hops. Some malt. Well balanced bitter, sweet and carbonation. I think it would have been pretty good fresh.
