Cheers to jdubfl for sharing this can. golden color, white head. aroma and flavors, sweet and malty with underlying bitter citrus hop profile. Tasty beer but found it to be a tad too sweet and on the malt side for an IPA.

Can. Deep dark amber-brown color with an orange glow and a tall, frothy, head. Rather faint caramel malt aroma, slightly fruity. Rich malt flavor, caramel and slight fruit, bready. Rather bland but decent. Nice bitter finish, though no hop flavor really.

From the oak cask at the Tokyo Real Ale Festival. Huge caramel malt, buttery, with big sweetness. Smooth, somehow clean even as it is very cloying. Great malt. Way sweet, with almost no trace of those 65 IBUs. Enjoyable, though.

6th August 2008. On tap at GBBF. Sweetish IPA - not much bitterness. Slightly dissapointed there was not more to this after the lovely Tokyo Black earlier in the year but decent nontheless.

March 2008 Light and soft black beer that blooms in to something fruity and fragrant and ends in a semi dry very lightly toasted finish. Hint of banana. Complex.

Can. Hoppy and honey roasted chocolate aroma. Black, golden brown lacing foam. Coffeeground base, gets sweeter after a initial bitter kick. Dry mouthfeel, roasted almonds round the flavor off. Coffee exhaling. Quick finish. Nice though.

Can. Amber/golden, golden head. Fresh light citric aromatic hop aroma. Medium body, sparkly. a tad to the sweet side, grassy and citric finish. Pleasant enough to drink - well balanced.
