Sample@Ølfestival København 2018, Copenhagen - fuzzy golden coloured pour with white head. Citrus fruity hoppy and malty, juicy tangerine and lemon, citrus rind, pine, some caramel, medium body, hoppy bitter finish.

Gekocht op 1-06-2018 voor mijn vaderkensdag bij Bierhandel Vercruyssen te Berlare. En thuis geproefd op 4-08-2018. Dragora wordt gebrouwen bij Brouwerij Anders te Halen volgens het recept van Brouwerij Enigma te Heusden/Zolder. Het is een helder goud kleurig biertje dat een normale hoeveelheid gebroken-wit schuim produceert in een moussige vorm. Het blijft sterk aan het glas kleven en er is veel CO2 pareling te zien met grote belletjes. Na een tijdje is het schuim wat gezakt tot een gelijkmatige laag van ongeveer 3 à 5 mm dikte. Het aroma van Dragora is stroperig zoet, met banaan, citrus en mango ,wat tarwemout ,een heel klein toetsje wort-geur en ook een bloemige toets. De smaak is licht bitterig en fruitig-zoet, met weer de banaan, citrus, mango ,ananas en meloen. In de mond geeft Dragora een zacht volle body-gevoel, met een bitterdroogje, een volmondige textuur en een normale CO2 prikkeling. Zeker een harmonieus biertje. De nasmaak vloeit wat uit, is fruitig-zoetig en licht bitterig met ook wat banaan, citrus, mango en meloen. Dragora is een lekker, zacht en fruitig biertje waarbij het bittere helemaal niet stoort maar juist een meerwaarde geeft aan de smaakbelevenis. Bottle. A black one, topped by a big dark beige head leaving wonderful lacing. Roasted malts, chocolate, some coffee, toffee and a touch of vanilla and dried fruits in the aroma. Some alcohol. It's full-bodied, lightly warming and with a good carbonation. Roasted malts, chocolate, some coffee and vanilla, with notes of vanilla and coconut in the flavor. Don't think I'd recognize the vanilla and certainly not the coconut if I didn't see it in the commercial description. Long finish. A pleasant one indeed, perhaps a bit yeasty, even though I didn't mention it. Yeast-ish, more than yeasty. 180728

Bottle. Creamy lightbrown good fully lasting head. Black colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Light sweat and moderate bitter flavor. Average finish. Creamy palate. A litlte messy.

Bottle from Bierboom, Bruges. Pours hazy dark golden with a lasting, foamy, off-white head; little lacing. Strong aroma of honey, candied orange, banana, peach, grass, pineapple slice, yeast, white pepper. It tastes medium to heavy fruity sweet, hints of pineapple & honey, and light spicy bitter, a bit grassy & phenolic. Dryish, bready, spicy & peppery hoppy finish, lingering fruitiness. Full body, slick/syrupy texture, fizzy carbonation. Recommendable Tripel, distinguished.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Enigma Black Fuel ].Clear, sparkling, with a dark brown colour with a large, frothy and speaking, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, moderate roasted, light to moderate chocolate and coffee, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast, dried fruit, dried raisin, black currant. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, licorice, fruity yeast, dark malt, roasted, belgium yeast, dried raisin. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity hops, light yeasty, light peach. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a long duration, fruity hops, fruity malt, citrus - peach - stone fruit, fruity pale malt, yeast notes.
