Cask days 2011. My wife bought this one, and im glad she did. Nice spicy nose, pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg cloves. But it was all well balanced and somewhat subtle. The balance was great, the finish was biscuity sweet. Wow, i was very impressed.

On tap at the Clarence location in the Market in Ottawa. Clear golden pour, with a small white head. Aroma of grains, wet grass. Flavor was pretty much like a grainy lager with a TOUCH of wheat. Really weak it was like a light, and bubbly golden ale. Maybe they gave me the wrong beer?

Sweet malty/caramel aroma. Some light nuttiness, and a touch of hops in the flavor. Straight forward, and pretty simple. Not for the huge beer geek, but i can see a macro drinker enjoying it.

on tap at the new brewpub in the Byward Market. Golden pour, next to no head. Pretty boring aroma, not much malt, just some grassy hops, and wet grass, and some dull grains. The flavor is pretty boring also, grassy, and grainy.

Aroma is sweet malt, and some nuts. Flavor is pretty watered down, with some nuts in the finish, pretty boring.

A golden ale with a thin creamy lacing white head. In aroma, sweet biscuit malt with grassy hops, light mineral notes, pleasant and smooth. In mouth, crisp biscuit malt with grassy British hops, light mineral notes, so-so.
