Cask at the Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Bucks 07-10-08 Pours amber with a white head. I find this to be quite tangy and fruity with a long bitter and dry finish, in fact I found that the bitterness hung around for an age and I could still taste it a few miles up the road at Waddesdon.

Cask at The Wellington, aka ’Cask and Cutler’ Sheffield, ’The Peoples Republic of South Yorkshire’ on the Valley of Beer Day 16-08-08 Pours light gold with thin white head. This is truly excellent for the abv, really good punchy bitter bite to it a numbing clingy bitterness sits on the roof of the mouth, little dryness, its very good and according to the barman selling like hotcakes in this pub with three casks sold in no time at all.
