Cask conditioned at JDW Mossy Well. A Hazy golden colour with a cream textured white head. The taste is dominated by bitter grassy and herbal notes. A bit one-dimensional. Mouthfeel a little thin and the aftertaste is a not very attractive grassy bitterness.

(Cask at The Pocket, Islington, London, 16 July 2026) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit, grass and resin. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, grapefruit, peaches, nectarine, pine needles and a balanced citric/piney bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. As usual with Oakham, a really fresh hop character. Refreshing and highly drinkable. Very nice.

Gravity poured half pint at a beer festival, Pheasant Inn, Wellington on 17th July 2026. Bright, clean and clear golden body, white roof on top. I'm no expert on 'American Cream Ale', but this seemed alright to me, slightly hoppy, slightly malty and slightly refreshing and almost interesting.

Hand-pulled half-pint at the Pheasant Inn at their Beer Festival on 17th July 2026. Light golden body, white head that gave off some decent lacing. Krush hops trying to do their stuff, a bit watered down though.
