Cask at the Gidea Park Taproom. Clear gold beer, small bubbly offers white head. Airy palate, a little dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth pale malts, a little milky sweetness. Soft pine. Forensic citrus. A light and semi dry finish. Dull as dishwater and the worst Oakham beer I can recall. Crushing disappointment.

Rather a dry and ashy CDA. Toothy roast, charred pine, bitter baking cocoa. Scorched earth and ashy dryness to finish. A sniff of dried citrus peel. Not bad.
