Teesside Beery Day Out Beer#1. Settles clear golden. Hoppy session ale, but with quite a full smoothish taste, and mild sweetener tropical notes. Managed to just make it to the Wetherspoon for this beer to accompany breakfast.

Hand pulled pint at the Railway Tavern, Newport Shropshire on 13th January 2026. Clean and clear golden body, white crust on top. Slight citrus leaning in the nose and taste, subtle fruity flavour, pleasant enough but lacks 'punch'.

Handpull cask at the Brunswick, Derby. Proper black with a swirl of tan head. Aroma of roast black malt, pine needles, some light citrus. Taste is bitter, almost charred after a very brief initial sweetness. Light sourness near the finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. An exciting beer.

Handpull cask at the King's Head, Leicester. It’s very dark brown, just a little bit translucent. Small khaki head which dissipates fairly quickly. Light aroma, some coffee, darker malts. Tastes sweet, gentle creamy coffee, leading to a gentle bitterness. Medium body with softer carbonation as befits cask. It's decent but a little bit anonymous.
