About
Founded in 2013, we spent the first couple of years as a very small, part-time operation. During this time we were building our range and engaging with our local community to brew beers they enjoyed drinking. We were mainly selling locally, but by 2016 we had increased capacity and started to sell further afield.
Innovation and new beers followed and today, we are proud of our wide range of craft beer and ale. Our beers are diverse, some new, some bold and juicy, some challenging, some classic. But, all are great quality, made with attention to detail and real care.
We continue to seek feedback from our customers and club membership, whilst taking inspiration from the wider brewing community at home and abroad.
Our goal remains unchanged, to producing great beers, to be enjoyed by all.

Cask gravity at Siba South East 2015. Black beer lasting tan head. Dryish stout. Plenty of oatmeal. Some liquorice. Dry finish. Just not my kinda beer.

Bottle shared at the Cad’s 10th Anniversary Tasting - CBC Clerkenwell, London. Sourced from Butler Wines in Brighton. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. Strong minerals and dry smoke in this one, with touches of pale bread, hay, dried lemon peel. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with more off drying minerality, smokey notes, pale grains. Not excellent.

Bottle @ The Cad’s 10yr Shindig. Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty weak citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty weak citrus hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy finish.

Bottle at home in London - sourced from Butlers Wine Cellar. Pours perfectly clear copper-gold, nicely effervescent, with a creamy white head. Lots of dry minerals in the nose, slight chlorophenols, hints of smoke. Light-medium sweet flavor with pale wood, birch, dry smoke, minerals, peach skin, grass. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with some astringency, more pale wood, smokiness, stones, rind, grass, chlorine. Not great.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 8/1/2015. Golden in colour, with a frothy, white, head. Plenty of tropical fruits, some grassy hops, a touch of creamy malts and dryish finish. Enjoyable.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 8/1/2015. Deep copper in colour, with a decent, off-white, head. Sweetish cereal malts, some leafy hops, whiff of sulphur before a decent, bitter, finish. Good.
