Bottle: Poured a mahogany brown with a khaki head. Aroma is rich roasted malt, chocolate, spicy, chocolate. Taste is rich malts, spice, chocolate, that malt backbone lingers.

0,44 boks fra The Mossy Well via min importkoffert: lett uklar gylden med fint skum som varer. Søte clementiner, tropiske frukter (pasjonsfrukt?), grapefrukt og litt fersken. Mild bitterhet og noe papayaaktig i avslutningen, og enda et nytt engelsk bryggeri for meg.

Cask at EBF Nov 25. Dark. Thin foamy beige head. Aroma is sweet- more caramel than raisin. Flavourwise it has sour edged but sweet fruit. Dark dough and coffee. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft average carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Enjoyable.
