Keg at Lochter Fest. It pours clear yellow - green with a quickly dissipating white head. The aroma is soft, sweetish, earthy, wood, apple pie, pear, floral and tangy action. The taste is pretty sweet, mellow, apple juice, apple pie, marzipan, light florals, pear and a hint of tartness & tannins. Bitter - sweet finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Overall it’s a bit too sweet and sugary. Fair.

Recht süßer Antrunk ohne wirkliche Wahrnehmung der Fasslagerung. Apfelsaft, süffig, süß, gut zu trinken aber schwach für was es sein soll. 7/8/9/8//8

Keg at Lochter Beer Fest. It pours sort of pinkish with a thick white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, mellow, fruity and soft strawberry character. The taste is crisp, sweet strawberry, apple pie, candy cane, touch of fruity tartness and fruit pie with a dry finish. Light - medium body and moderate - high carbonation. Foamy mouth feel. Quite simple, but not particularly artificial or overly sweet. Fair. Serves a purpose.

Il gusto al naso finisce sul fruttato, soprattutto mela. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e la persistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste poco. Le bollicine sono grandi. La consistenza del liquido è limpida. L bollicine sono fini. La carbonazione è media e morbida. Il colore è giallo paglierino. Il corpo è snello. Il dolce è pesante. L'amaro è leggero. L'intensità gustativa è normale e la persistenza gustativa è sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono di facile beva. Il finale è dissetante e semplice. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. L'aroma in bocca riporta sentori di frutta, soprattutto mela. Alcol presente.

Cask at North Hop. It pours lightly hazy straw yellow with minimal white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, fruit cordial, apple juice, dried apple, bit of earth, floral, wood and straw. The taste is rather sweet upfront, sugary, apple pie, sweet apple juice, pear, tart, tangy, apple skin and tannins with a tangy apple finish. Medium body and limited carbonation. Perhaps a touch sweet, but very approachable stuff.

From 33cl bottle. Pours fully transparent canary yellow with very limited and not persistent foam. Aroma is fruity, though the apple character is not so strong. The influence of whisky barrel aging is not so evident. Body is medium-light, very low carbonation. Taste is definitely sweet, with a pleasant bitterish feeling in the final, which is still rather short.

Draught @ The Flying Chariot, Terminal 2, Heathrow Airport. Pours light golden with a few offwhite bubbles for a head. Aroma of sweet, apples, light wood, light notes of whisky. Flavor is light sweet, ripe apples, light wood, oak, mild whisky notes. Medium body, flat carbonation, light sweet finish. 140317

Keg at Heidrun, 24/12/16. Light golden with a head of collapsing white bubbles. Nose is sweet apple, light floral notes, straw, apple skins. Taste comprises sweet apple sauce, hint of elderflower, straw, grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Ok.
