Keg at the Bootlegger, High Wycombe, 27/12/15. Clear light golden with a decent off white covering that retains well for a cider. Nose is tangy apple, straw, light smoke, subtle whisky. Taste comprises apple orchard, light sugar, straw, whisky vibes. Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Decent cider, the whisky dumbs down the sweetness. Decent.

BIAB @ JDW Shrewsbury Hotel, Shrewsbury. Pours clear pale gold. Turps aroma, taste follows. Tastes like I should be stripping my paint brushes with it. Couldn’t finish.
