Keg at the Bootlegger, High Wycombe, 27/12/15. Clear light golden with a decent off white covering that retains well for a cider. Nose is tangy apple, straw, light smoke, subtle whisky. Taste comprises apple orchard, light sugar, straw, whisky vibes. Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Decent cider, the whisky dumbs down the sweetness. Decent.

Bottle, small bubbly head, clear lightish yellow color, aroma of ripe apples, wood and spice, with the whiskey in the back, flavor of stewed apples whiskey and wood, light bitterness,stromg sweetness but certainly not cloying. Good full bodied cider.

Bottle, no head,clear veey pale red color, aroma of strawberries, mineral notes and some apples, flavor of apples and some strawberries, light sourness, very sweet, almost sticky, still quite fun.
