330ml bottle. Clear pale red colour, no head. Aroma: strawberries, over-ripe apples, odd tartness. Taste: strawberries and cooked apples, very sweet. Light-medium body, lively carbonation. Not as nice as I thought it could be.

330ml bottle. Clear pale straw colour, no head. Aroma and flavour prominently features ginger, with very sweet apples. Initially didn’t like how much ginger was in this but the flavours grew on me the more I drank. Light-medium body, moderate carbonation, heavy sweetness could be dialled down a touch to make it more drinkable. Ok.

Bottle from Tesco Danestone. It pours clear yellow with no head whatsoever. The aroma is bitter - sweet, earthy, musty, funk, apple pie, vanilla, earth and oak. The taste is crisp, sweetish, apple crumble, vanilla, apple tango, subtle whisky (I personally would have preferred more) and golden syrup with a dryish finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. I fine this a bit too sweet if truth be told. If I remember rightly I had this once before on cask, which was a fair bit better. OK.

Well the apples aren’t real so what are the chances the strawberries are. Maybe they are which is why it’s pointed out. Still looking for provenance and apples.
