Sampled draft @ “Kaapse Brouwers 1st Anniversary Beer Festival”. Pale golden. Nose is far sweeter than I anticipated, sweet vanilla & oak mixed with sweet apples, making it bit of a one-noted combination. Taste is sweet apples, white sugar, lots of candy & light vanilla / sweet oak. Okay but expected more, others seemed to love it more than I did. I know nothing about cider.

500 ml. bottle sampled @ “Kaapse Brouwers 1st Anniversary Beer Festival”. Pale golden. Nose is huge on ginger but with a nice balance of med. sweet apples, light residual sugar. Taste is big on ginger with a good mix of sweet apple, sugar, light candy,… Score is awful but I quite loved it, great mix of sweet apple & ginger, heavy ginger but not extreme. Quite loved it.

Draught @ Van Moll Brewpub. Clear orange golden color, medium sized off-white head that diminishes quickly. Aroma is lightly green apple, applepeel. Tastes about the same, green apple but not sour, applepeel, a slight sort of tart. Medium dry, quite nice.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden with steady bubbles and a very thin head. Nose - sweet synthetic apples. Taste - more of the same. Too sweet to be wholesome. Palate - light bodied with a light creamy texture and a tangy finish which could be cleaner. Overall - generally synthetic.
