Description
First brewed in Spring 2010 as the Wheatsheaf Inn based at Wheatsheaf Inn, High Street, Llantrisant, Pontyclun. It was originally owned by Celt Experience. In 2011 it brewed for a short time using the name Korev, before settling on the current name in Spring 2012 when it separated from Celt Experience. It moved to its current address in Spring 2013 where an 11BBL plant was used. Experimental beers are produced under the Hopcraft banner. Brewing ceased in early 2019.

Cask handpull at Craft Covent Garden. Clear deep gold lasting white head. It’s a pale mild what can I say? Pale and biscuit malty with a sweet honey finish. What a style. Not seen very often is a pale mild. Interesting.

Cask at CBCCV - London. Pours clear, rich gold with a creamy, white head. The aroma holds damp bread, ripe citrus, orange rind. Light sweet flavor with nicely rounded, crunchy malts, dry bread, grains, some tangerine. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Nicely balanced on the finish with further dry, crunchy grains, mellow bitterness, toasted hay, citrus rind. Decent.

Cask at CPK, Pimlico, London on 11th July 2014. Amber with off-white head. Rounded hoppiness in aroma and liquid balanced by some agreeable soft malts in-mouth. Bittersweet finish; smooth mouthfeel and light body.

Cask-conditioned at the Beer Emporium, Bristol 9/7/2014. Deep brown with a slight, beige, head. Brown sugar, caramel, berry fruits, a touch of orange peel, some elfy hops and a gentle finish. Good.

Cask at the cask pub and kitchen 5th birthday. Clear golden coloured pour with a thin lasting white head some lace. Aroma is lemon Zest and orange peel, sweet candied berry in the aroma. Flavour is earthy lemon, some wheat grain, pithy lemon and tanin. Firm citrus hop bitterness. Some tea leaves. Medium body and decent condition.

Cask at Cloisters. Pours reddish brown, hint of estery spice on nose, caramel, taste is sweet, dry bitter roast, toffee, light spice, thin.
