Description
Ben, Sam & Graham started Pressure Drop in 2013, making 50L batches in Graham's garden shed. After upgrading to a 5BBL kit and spending a few years in a railway arch in Hackney (yep, we are the stereotype), we've found our home in Tottenham.

We now employ a small team of great people and have a bigger, nicer and shinier 20BBL brew kit. We're making the best beer that we can, in styles that we want to enjoy, and hope that you will too.

440ml can. A Christmas 2024 present from my family and shared in Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, fresh, juicy mango, pineapple, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Hazy golden body with an off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange and mashed strawberry. Flavour of watermelon and mandarin. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Very tangy and juicy. Pressure Drop brew excellent IPAs, and this is one is top drawer.

Can at home picked up from HOTM, maybe. A clear golden coloured pour with a fine loose white head. Aroma is creamy coconut, sun tan lotion, waxy, oily coconut, lime citrus tang. Flavour is composed of sharp tangy citric, green citrus, lime, coconut oil, sun cream, sour milk, mild citric acid pucker, prickly. Palate is sharp, tangy, sour, abrasive carbonation. pinch of acid. Bit odd.

Clean beer. Lean pale malts, pine needles, dried citrus peel. Has all the right moves. I wouldn’t exactly say the beer sings, but I can’t really fault it. Just a very solid, drinkable hoppy pale ale.
