Bottle. Nice bready and hoppy pils with a distinct and refreshing herbal bitterness in the end. A good and classic example.

8 oz. draft at Tørst in Brooklyn, New York. The pour is a clear golden with a white head. The aroma is fresh cracker malt along with a nice earth grass. The taste is a perfect blend and balance of the cracker malt and the earth grass. Clean and crisp. The palate is light bodied with active carbonation and the dry crisp finish. Nice, really easy drinking.

Spuyten Duyvil, Brooklyn bottle: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is grass, straw, and a bit of dough. Taste is in the same element. Hoppy, and a bit bitter without being vegetal or skunky in the least. Fresh and crisp. Balanced well. This is what a Pils is supposed to be like. Unpretentious, but well crafted.

4 oz pour on draft at ChurchKey. Clear straw yellow with off-white head. Aromas of sweet malt and corn. Tastes of corn, sweet malt, light floral notes, a bit of a skunky note. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Only got through about 2 oz before calling it quits, not a fan.

As Rothaus Pils. Very pale, yellowish with a white head that laces OK. Aroma of bread, some honey, herbs, grass, a little lemon. Plain but nice bready malt, decent herbal and floral notes, fairly bitter finish. Clean and snappy. A bit out of date and picked up as a region tick, this is a nice surprise. Has it kept well or is it really good fresh?

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - light lemon with a very thin head that disappears quickly. Nose - lemonade. Taste - lemon barley water with extra sweetness. Palate - light bodied with a sweet middle section and a nice crisp finish. Overall - most Radlers taste the same, but I do like the refreshment.

330ml bottle from appellation wines. Pours clear pale yellow, short-lived white head. Aromas of lemonade and sugar. Taste is cheap lemonade no real beer flavour. Thin finish.
