Bottle shared at the Beer Emporium, Bristol. Poured a cloudy mid-gold colour with an average sized just off-white head. Aroma of wheat, yeast, banana and caramel. Good level of carbonation, medium sweetness, light bitterness to finish. Enjoyable beer.

*Old rating, best before 13.02.10. Malziges, nicht zu tiefes Bier. Fresh and easy to drink. The body is beside water slightly grainy and slightly sweetish. Not as penetrant as other free beers, but still tasteable.

Cask at the Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is big yeast resin. The flavour is light sour citrus yeast with a light yeasty, herby, light acid palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Draft at Craft, Covent Garden. Pours cloudy amber with an off white head. Aroma of banana yeast, dough and bready malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with light moderate carbonation.

0,33 l bottle. Clear and very pale golden in the glass. Small fine foamy head. Hope and grain on the nose. Starts with a short hop taste, followed by a more grainy sequence. Sour hints. Not that herb hop bitterness, that we are knowing here in int northwest of Germany. More a decent one out of the southwest. Little bit thin ending.

Flaska från kompis, tack Johan! Ljust gyllengul med vitt tjockt och härligt skum. Doftar säd och lite burkgrönsaker. Gräddig smak med låg sötma och matchande beska. Inte perfekt krispig men inte långt ifrån heller.

Typical northern German Pilsener with a label originally dating from 1956, to celebrate the brewery’s 50th birthday. Snow white, medium thick, creamy head leaving nice lacing; pure golden blonde colour, very little sparkling. Malt sweetish aroma, grainy, peppery and flowery hops; neutral taste, medium to strong carbo, mineral-like, grainy sweetishness, ending in an assertive, long, dry, peppery hop bitterness which sticks for quite a long time, even for this substyle.
